UofL FOOTBALL | Louisville Alumni in New York sharing in Lamar Jackson's Heisman hunt

12/09/2016 08:00 PM

Only a day after winning the Walter Camp Player of the Year Award and the Maxwell Player of the Year Award, Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson made the trip to New York City to get ready for Saturday night’s Heisman Trophy presentation ceremony.

Jackson is the heavy favorite to take home the most coveted individual award in college football, and it started with an incredible leaping touchdown over a Syracuse defender back in September. You know who was watching that game? The U of L Alumni chapter in New York which gets together to watch Louisville sports whenever possible. Our own Andrew Chernoff is in New York right now, and caught up with the club President Liz Bradstreet about following Jackson’s Heisman quest.
