UofL FOOTBALL | Has Louisville's non-conference schedule prepared them for Clemson

09/14/2015 08:30 PM

LOUISVILLE – The Cards had a full ten days to prepare for the Houston Cougars, and they still lost. They have only five between Houston and the 11th ranked Clemson Tigers who come into Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium this Thursday. Is such a short turn around good or bad for the now 0-2 Cardinals?

The Tigers are undefeated to start the season, but those wins are coming against less than stellar competition. The Tigers beat their first two opponents by a combined 70 points. Has Louisville’s tougher non-conference schedule to start the year adequately prepared them to take on the favored Tigers?

Tony Rawlings and ESPN 680’s Drew Deener break down the Cards’ quick turn around between game days and talk about if UofL actually has a shot at the victory.
