The University of Louisville football team is officially at the halfway point of the regular season, and heading into their second straight home game. After a close win over the Duke Blue Devils, the Cards are preparing for a North Carolina State team that nearly knocked off Clemson.

At his press conference today, U of L head coach Bobby Petrino talked about the win over Duke, but said the team is now focused on the Wolfpack. He also talked about NC State proposing a unique challenge, because it is a largely similar roster over the last three seasons.

Petrino on NC State: “They have a quarterback who was throwing for over seventy-percent completions. Defensively, they lineup in a four-man front and pressure a little bit, but not as much as a lot of guys do. They play very sound. They make you earn it is what they do is really what they do. They make you earn it. They tackle well and they run full speed to the ball, so they’re very impressive.”
