UofL FOOTBALL | Devonte Fields to return for senior season

The University of Louisville received even more encouraging news this week that star defensive end Devonte Fields will be returning for his senior season.

Fields announced via Twitter, that he would forgo the NFL draft don the red and black for one more season. Fields is the fifth defensive starter from the 2015 team to announce his return this week behind leading tackler Keith Kelsey, safety Josh Harvey-Clemons, nose tackle DeAngelo Brown, and cornerback Shaq Wiggins.

In his junior season, Fields totaled 63 tackles, 10.5 sacks, 22 tackles-for-loss, and 2 forced fumbles and was in top five on the team in total tackles.
