UofL Football | Defensive Coordinator Peter Sirmon Resigns

The University of Louisville football program has announced that Defensive Coordinator Peter Sirmon has resigned, effective immediately.
In a press release, Head Coach Bobby Petrino said:
“I would like to thank Peter Sirmon for all of his work this season at the University of Louisville. I wish him and his family all the best.”
Sirmon was hired as the defensive coordinator in 2017 after one season at Mississippi St. as the defensive coordinator and linebackers coach.
Later in the day on Friday, the Cal Golden Bears announced that Sirmon has been hired as the team’s associate head coach / inside linebackers coach.
