UofL FOOTBALL | Cards will face the Nation's top defense on Saturday

10/19/2015 08:12 PM

The University of Louisville football team (2-4, 1-2) is returning home after a disappointing showing in Tallahassee last weekend where they lost to the 8th ranked Florida State Seminoles 41-21. They now return to Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium for a homecoming matchup against ACC rival Boston College (3-4, 0-4)

They Cardinals have been plagued by inconsistencies on offense stemming from youth throughout the lineup. But they will have to fire on all cylinders to overcome the top ranked defense in the nation.

Boston College is currently holding its opponents to 11 points per game and less than 200 yards of total offense. Until their matchup last weekend against Clemson, no team had scored more than 14 points on the Golden Eagles all season. Boston college gave up 34 to the Tigers.

At his weekly press conference today, Louisville head coach Bobby Petrino spoke to the difficulties presented by the Boston College defense.

Here is the rest of Petrino’s press conference where he addresses the loss to Florida State.
