UofL FOOTBALL | Cards grab offensive line commit for 2017

The University of Louisville football team picked up their fourth commitment in the class of 2017 from Las Vegas offensive tackle Poutasi Poutasi.

Poutasi is currently rated a 3-star prospect by recruiting sites scout.com and rivals.com. The 6-foot-3, 280 pound offensive lineman hails from Desert Pines High School, and is rated the eight best prospect in the state of Nevada by Rivals. He also has a NFL connection being related to Tennessee Titans offensive lineman Jeremiah Poutasi.

Poutasi selected U of L over a number of other schools which include UNLV, Nevada, Hawaii and San Diego State. He joins Malik Cunningham, TJ Jallow, and Octavius Matthews in Louisville’s class of 2017.

Garrett Moore

Garrett is a Sports Producer for Spectrum News. He is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State and got his start as a sports photographer. He now produces Sports Night, the state’s only nightly show dedicated to in-depth coverage of all sports in Kentucky. Sports Night airs weeknights at 6:30 and 10:30 on Spectrum News. Outside the station, Garrett enjoys golfing, hiking, fishing, and prides himself on being all-in as a sports spectator. He won a gift card for playing an air guitar in the student section during an MTSU basketball game.
