UofL FOOTBALL | Cards Find Success Recruiting in Georgia

The Louisville Cardinals found plenty of success recruiting in the state of Georgia.

UofL picked up seven players from the Peach State.

Tight end Kemari Averett (Atlanta), offensive lineman Caleb Chandler (Jefferson), linebacker Malik Clark (Milledgeville), wide receiver Joshua Johnson (Atlanta), wide receiver Justin Marshall (Conyers) and wide receiver Corey Reed, Jr. (Fulton) all hail from Georgia.

Meanwhile, one of the future Cardinals from Georgia has already been on UofL’s campus. Linebacker Kameron Jones, of Gwinnett, was an early enrollee for Louisville.

Spectrum News Kentucky caught up with three of these “Georgia Cardinals” down in the Atlanta-area on Wednesday.

Our Ryan Huie spoke with Justin Marshall about choosing UofL:

Huie also caught up with receivers Joshua Johnson and Corey Reed, Jr.:
