UofL FOOTBALL | Cards Fall One Spot in AP Top 25 Poll

Despite the Louisville Cardinals winning their regular season opener on Saturday night against Purdue, they dropped one spot in the AP Top 25 Poll.

UofL now sits at #17 in the new poll, which was released on Tuesday.

The Cards are in between Miami, who is #16, and Virginia Tech, who is #18.

The top five in the poll look like this:

1. Alabama (60) – 1,524
2. Ohio St. (1) – 1,445
3. Clemson – 1,317
4. Penn St. – 1,303
5. Oklahoma – 1,253

The Cards continue their season on Saturday when they take on UNC in Chapel Hill, N.C. Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. ET.
