UofL FOOTBALL | Cards defense relying on persistent pass rush

The University of Louisville football defense will feature multiple defensive backs, and use speed and size to contain opposing offenses. That statement might be even more true for the players responsible for rushing opposing quarterbacks than any other position on the defense.

This year, U of L will be relying heavily on the skills of senior linebacker Devonte Fields and junior linebacker James Hearns to lead the pass rushing attack, which according to Bobby Petrino will be a serious strength of the team.
