UofL FOOTBALL | Cardinals players excited for actual opponent

08/18/2017 10:50 AM

There are only 15 days until the start of Louisville’s 2017 football season. The team heads to Indianapolis on September 2 for a game against Purdue in Lucas Oil Stadium.

The players are still working hard at camp, and have even started the actual game-planning for the Boilermakers.

These next two weeks will definitely be the slowest of the summer for football fans, but it moves even slower for the players. Drew Bailey and De’Asian Richardson talked about finally getting to line up opposite another jersey, while defensive coordinator Peter Sirmon says he his perfectly content to practice everyday.
