UofL FOOTBALL | Cardinals are preparing for an athletic Houston QB

LOUISVILLE – The defense is the strongest and most experienced side of the ball for the University of Louisville football team. Their leader, Defensive Coordinator Todd Grantham, understands the importance of preparation. The Houston Cougars come into Louisville this Saturday under the direction of Head Coach Tom Herman, and Coach Grantham’s players have watched plenty of film on both. They know they have a quality opponent on their hands this weekend.

In his time as Offensive Coordinator at Ohio State, Herman has shown an affinity for athletic, mobile quarterbacks. He has just that in Houston’s Greg Ward Jr.

Reporter Tony Rawlings was on set today to further break down what Louisville’s defense is expecting, and how well they are prepared.
