UofL FOOTBALL | Bobby Petrino making the most Cardinal bye week

10/12/2015 05:52 PM

The University of Louisville football team has been the beneficiary of a much appreciated bye week. The Card’s week off comes between two difficult road games, and gives them an extra week to prepare for what looks to be the toughest game of their season against an 11th ranked Florida State.

The Seminoles are undefeated heading into Saturday’s noon kickoff. The Cardinals look to hit the .500 mark on their season with a third win in a row, and pull in a second straight conference win. For Louisville head coach Bobby Petrino thinks the bye week could not have come at a better time, and has used it to reset and let his team focus on more than football.
