08/19/2016 04:34 PM

UofL held it’s annual kickoff luncheon at the Marriott downtown today, hosting nearly 1,500 fans, coaches and their families, players, and staff.

Between the meal and the hype video playing on 5 screens, several people shared the podium including Athletic Director Tom Jurich, and none other than head coach, Bobby Petrino.

Team captains Lamar Jackson, Brandon Radcliff, Tobijah Hughley, Keith Kelsey and DeAngelo Brown also took the stage to field questions for the fans.

The Cardinals kick off at home September 1. Coach Petrino said soon they will transition from camp into game-prep.
