UofL FIELD HOCKEY | Cards Hoping to Make History Saturday

11/09/2017 06:05 PM

The Louisville field hockey team left for Ann Arbor, Mi. on Thursday in preparation of its opening round NCAA Tournament match.

The Cards will face Northwestern on Saturday at 2 p.m. ET.

It will be the second time this season that the Cards and Wildcats will play each other, as Northwestern beat UofL 2-0 back on Sept.19.

UofL head coach Justine Sowry says though that her team now is completely different than it was then:

If the Cards win Saturday, it would be their first-ever program victory in the NCAA Field Hockey Tournament.
