UofL Defensive Back Terrence Ross suspended, arrested on assault charges

UofL Defensive Back Terrence Ross was suspended from the Louisville football program over the weekend, per a UofL football spokesperson.

According to a police report, Ross was arrested shortly after midnight on Sunday morning after allegedly hitting a police officer, causing minor injury. The officer was responding to an altercation at the location. Ross was charged with assault and disorderly conduct.

In response to Ross’ arrest, University of Louisville Football stated:

The football program is aware of the situation and is continuing to gather information. Terrence Ross has been suspended and the matter will continue to be evaluated.

Ross is a red shirt sophomore from Florida who finished with five tackles this season.
