UofL Cruises To A 87-48 Win Over Hartford

It only took Chris Jones five seconds to score the first basket of the game for the Louisville Cardinals, and UofL never looked back, dominating the Hartford Hawks in an 87-48 win.

Montrezl Harrell was a beast on the boards with 9 rebounds and led the team scoring 20 points with plenty of rim-shaking dunks. Chane Behanan came off the bench to score 11 points, grab 4 rebounds and nearly sink a behind-the-back heave of a trick shot that hit the rim and missed by just inches.

“Chane’s just getting back into shape. He’s one of the guys getting beat off the dribble,” head coach Rick Pitino said. “He’s about a week away from being back in shape. He is pushing Montrezl and we are getting good competition.”

UofL’s next game is this Saturday against Fairfield at 2 p.m. ET on the road at Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut.
