UofL BASKETBALL | What to expect from the investigation process

10/08/2015 07:30 PM

News broke today of a former UofL basketball recruit, JaQuan Lyle confirming “the gist of the allegations” presented in Katina Powell’s book “Breaking Cardinal Rules: Basketball and the Escort Queen.”

The book details a number of salacious acts involving UofL basketball recruits and team members that were, up until now, only accounted for by Powell and her co-author Dick Cady. Lyle, currently with Ohio State University, reportedly told NCAA investigator the truth, and confirmed the “gist of the allegations.”

Also today, Eric Crawford of WDRB in Louisville reported that “a former University of Louisville basketball player has given investigators a version of events that indicates strippers were in the players’ dorm on at least one occasion.”

We talked to The Louisville Courier-journal’s Jeff Greer about the current state of the scandal, and we asked him about the timetable to expect as this investigation continues.
