The Louisville women’s basketball team has high expectations each season.

This year is no different.

The Cards are coming off a 2016-2017 campaign that ended in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Tournament. This year, the goal is make it even farther in the Big Dance:

UofL head coach Jeff Walz knows for his team to achieve its goals, it has to start out with right tone. And so far at practice, he says his players have done just that:

The Cards open the season on Nov. 10 in the Women’s NIT against Southeast Missouri. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. ET inside the KFC Yum! Center.
