UofL BASKETBALL | V.J. King still firm in commitment to Cards

Troubling revelations concerning former Louisville basketball players and recruits admitting to ESPN reporters that they attended parties at Billy Minardi Hall on UofL’s campus where there were strippers and escorts paid for by former Director of Basketball Operations, Andre McGee have overshadowed positive news about the program. Specifically, The commitment of 3-star guard Frankie Hughes.

The Garfield Heights, OH native is the second commitment to Louisville for the Class of 2016. We talked with Scout.com Recruiting Director, Evan Daniels, about Hughes.

The phone conversation with Evan starts right after we asked him what about him sparked an interest from Louisville. He also filled us in on where 5-star commit V.J. King sits in spite of the allegations against the program.
