UofL BASKETBALL | Russ Smith Talks Louisville Basketball, Upcoming Russ Smith Foundation Events

Former Louisville men’s basketball guard Russ Smith is arguably one of the most important players in program history.

Smith played for the Cards from 2010-2014, helping lead the team to the 2012 Final Four and the 2013 National Championship, although both were recently vacated.

Smith has spent the last couple of seasons playing professional basketball in China, finding plenty of success.

He and Tim Barnett joined Andrew Chernoff on Sports Night Thursday to talk about the state of UofL men’s basketball and Smith’s own career. They also talked about a handful of events coming up that will be organized by the Russ Smith Foundation:
