UofL BASKETBALL | Rick Pitino heads into tough game without Mahmoud...again

Southern Illinois is not the blue-blood basketball program that the no. 11 University of Louisville is, but that doesn’t mean Cardinal coach Rick Pitino is writing them off.

It’s quite the opposite in fact. In his press conference today, coach Pitino talked about the experienced Southern Illinois coming to the KFC Yum! Center tomorrow night at 7:00pm, and also addressed lingering health issues of junior forward Anas Mahmoud, who will miss his second straight game.
