UofL BASKETBALL | Reflecting on the close loss to UK

12/28/2015 06:10 PM

The dust has settled, and the players are certainly moving on with the rest of the season, but Louisville’s two point loss to Kentucky is still in the forefront of many fans’ minds.

The no. 18 Cards lost 75-73 to no. 10 Kentucky on Saturday. Louisville had a chance to tie with a two-pointer, but Damion Lee opted for a three point kill shot that fell short of the rim. In addition to it being a close loss, the game is tough to digest for many Louisville faithful because now they must wait an entire week to see their team in action again. Pitino and company don’t take the court again until Sunday when they take on Wake Forest at the Yum! Center to open conference play.

What is undeniable is that it was another fantastic installment to the Battle of the Bluegrass, so we had our in house Kentucky expert T.J. Beisner join Tony Rawlings on set to talk about what each side can take away from the Saturday showdown.
