UofL BASKETBALL | Reece Gaines to be Inducted into UofL Athletics Hall of Fame

Former UofL basketball guard Reece Gaines will be inducted into the UofL Athletics Hall of Fame in February.

Gaines, a current EKU assistant coach, was a four-year starter for Louisville. He ranks fourth on the UofL career scoring list with 1,945 points.

Gaines was picked 15th overall by the Orlando Magic in the 2003 NBA Draft. He ultimately played three seasons in the NBA.

Joining Gaines in the Hall of Fame Class of 2018 will be Keola Calderon (softball), Adrian Cann (soccer), Sharon Bellamy Richardson (basketball) and Jessica Javelet (field hockey).

The ceremony will take place on Friday, Feb. 2 inside the Brown & Williamson Club of Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium.
