UofL BASKETBALL | Pitino preparing his team "one of the premier guards in the nation"

In his press conference Wednesday afternoon, Louisville Basketball coach Rick Pitino give credit to North Carolina State guard, Anthony “Cat” Barber. Pitino and his team are heading to Raleigh to face the Wolfpack on Thursday for their first ACC road game of the year.

Now in his Junior season, Barber is scoring just shy of 23 points per game, and is on the court for 39 minutes per game. Pitino knows it will take a team effort to lock down the dynamic Wolfpack guard.

Last season, NC state handed Louisville a conference loss in the Yum! Center, But the Cards repayed the favor with a Sweet Sixteen victory in the NCAA tournament. Jason Anderson of ESPN Louisville, and Tony Rawlings dissect the budding ACC rivalry.
