UofL BASKETBALL | No. 3 Cards Keep Building Momentum with Another Blowout Win

12/12/2017 10:31 PM

The No. 3 Louisville women’s basketball team used a balanced scoring effort from its players on Tuesday night, helping the Cardinals remain undefeated on the season.

The Cards (12-0) won 95-56 over the visiting Tennessee St. Tigers (1-6) inside the KFC Yum! Center.

All ten players who played in the game for Louisville ended up scoring at least three points.

In fact out of those ten players, seven of them scored in double-figures.

Asia Durr, Jazmine Jones and Sam Fuehring each led the way for the Cards with 12 points apiece.

Joining that trio in double-figures were Myisha Hines-Allen (11), Kylee Shook (11), Bionca Dunham (11) and Dana Evans (10).

By the end of the night, UofL had outrebounded Tennessee St. 52-31, while also outscoring Tennessee St. 56-16 in the paint.

It was a special night as well for the Cards as the program held its annual “Ugly Sweater Night.” It was a chance for fans and the coaching staff to wear their “ugly sweaters” at the game:

Up next for UofL is a road game against rival Kentucky on Sunday afternoon. Tip-off is set for 3 p.m. ET inside UK’s Memorial Coliseum.
