UofL BASKETBALL | Louisville women have a tough tournament road

03/15/2017 07:00 PM

The Louisville women’s basketball team has the luxery of playing at home to start the NCAA Tournament, and at first glance, that might seem like all it needs to make it pretty far. But when you look closer at the Oklahoma City Region, it becomes clear that the Cards have their work cut out for them.

If Louisville wants to reach the final four, they are looking at potential matchups against Tennessee, Dayton, Baylor, and Mississippi State to name a few. These teams all have tournament histories with the Cards, but Louisville coach Jeff Walz is extremely confident in his group, and feels battle tested by a very tough regular season.
