UofL BASKETBALL | Louisville preparing for toughest test yet

11/27/2017 06:30 PM

after starting the season 4-0, the Louisville basketball team climbed two spots to no. 17 in the latest Associated Press rankings.

The Cardinals are coming off a big win over St. Francis, but will have the toughest test of the young season tomorrow night when the team plays at Purdue in the Big-10 / ACC Challenge. The Boilermakers were ranked for the first few weeks of the season, but just fell outside the top-25 after two losses in the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament last week.

Purdue definitely a top-caliber team, and is the first program that will be able to match up with Louisville’s height. Four players on Purdue’s roster are 6’9” or taller, and have two players over seven feet.

Basketball writer for the Courier-Journal, Jeff Greer joined the show on Monday to help preview the Tuesday night tip.
