The Louisville men’s basketball team was picked to finish fifth in the ACC this season by league media members. The only teams ahead of U of L were Duke, North Carolina, Notre Dame, and Miami.

The Cards also have two players earning preseason honors. Senior guard Quentin Snider and junior wing Deng Adel were each named to the All-ACC preseason second team.

Last season U of L finished fourth in conference play, and finished the year 25-9 overall.

Duke fresman Marvin Bagley III was named preseason rookie of the year in the ACC, while Notre Dame’s Benzie Colson took home the honor of preseason player of the year.
