11/12/2015 08:15 PM

Louisville Basketball head coach Rick Pitino held a press conference this afternoon to adress the newest addition to the Cardinal Basketball program: V.J. King and Frankie Hughes, who signed their letters of intent to Louisville yesterday.

King, a 6’7 small forward from Fairfax Virginia averaged 18.5 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 4.2 assists a game as his junior year. He is currently the only 5-star commit to the Louisville program.

Hughes comes to Louisville from Garfield Heights high school in Ohio, Trey Lewis’ alma mater. He is a lanky shooting guard, that Pitino expects to be a big point contributor next fall.

The first thing Pitino addressed in his press conference is the improving health of former player Kyle Kuric .

He then talked about the needs of his team, and how the latest commits will contribute.

Pitino has one more scholarship to offer, but said he is still determining the best way to use it.
