06/12/2018 05:07 PM

Louisville women’s basketball head coach Jeff Walz has agreed to a revised contract, which includes an extension through the 2024-2025 season.

Details of the contract have not been released.

Walz talked with Spectrum News’ Andrew Chernoff about the extension on Tuesday:

Walz was named ACC Coach of the Year during the 2017-2018 season after leading the Cards to a program-best 36-3 record, which included a trip to the Final Four.

He has been the head coach of the Cards the last 11 seasons, leading UofL to an overall record of 299-96 during that time.
