Former Louisville women’s basketball star Myisha Hines-Allen was selected by the Washington Mystics in the second round of the 2018 WNBA Draft on Thursday night.

The senior forward was the 19th overall pick in the Draft.

Hines-Allen becomes the eighth student-athlete at UofL to be picked in the WNBA Draft.

Hines-Allen spoke to the media about what it was like to get drafted by the Mystics:

Hines-Allen is one of only two players in Louisville history to have over 2,000 career points and 1,000 rebounds at UofL. The other player is Angel McCoughtry.
