UofL BASKETBALL | Game Day at the Final Four

The No. 1-seeded Cardinals (36-2) will take on the No. 1-seeded Mississippi St. Bulldogs (36-1) Friday night with a trip to the NCAA Women’s Basketball National Championship Game on the line.

Tip-off of their Final Four match-up is set for 7 p.m. ET inside Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Oh.

UofL Athletics and the Louisville Alumni Association held a pep rally on Friday afternoon inside The Westin Columbus. Here are some of the sights and sounds from the pep rally:

Prior to the pep rally, media members caught up with new permanent UofL Director of Athletics Vince Tyra, who was approved as permanent director of athletics on Monday. He spoke about what the last week has been like for him:

Andrew Chernoff
