UofL BASKETBALL | Donovan Mitchell To Test NBA Waters

03/22/2017 05:22 PM

Louisville sophomore guard Donovan Mitchell announced on Instagram Wednesday afternoon that he will declare for the NBA Draft, although he will not hire an agent.

Not hiring an agent allows him to return to Louisville should he decided to come back for his junior year.

Many NBA mock drafts have Mitchell as a late first-round pick, thanks in part to his successful 2016-2017 campaign in which he was named to the All-ACC First-Team.

Mitchell led the Cardinals in scoring, averaging 15.6 ppg. He also led the ACC in steals with 2.1 per game.

Forwards Deng Adel and Jaylen Johnson are expected to test the waters as well, according to multiple reports. They too though have not hired agents.
