UofL BASKETBALL | Deng Adel hopefully back on the court by Thanksgiving

11/22/2015 03:44 PM

Louisville freshman forward Deng Adel sat out of Saturday afternoon’s game against North Florida after suffering what he is initially calling a knee sprain he suffered in practice. While missing a game isn’t fun, especially because of an injury, Adel watched as Ray Spalding had the game of his young UofL career.

After Louisville’s win over UNF, head coach Rick Pitino said he plans on Adel missing the Cards Tuesday night game against St. Francis Brooklyn, but hopes his star defender returns to practice by Thanksgiving and is available for Louisville’s game against Saint Louis in Brooklyn, but Adel says he will undergo an MRI and figure out his time table for return from there.
