The Louisville women’s basketball team earned another win on Thursday night, keeping itself tied atop the ACC standings.

The No. 4 Cardinals (28-2, 14-1) beat Virginia (16-12, 9-6) by the final score of 51-39.

It was the third straight win for UofL, since its loss to No. 1 Connecticut on Feb. 12.

The victory was also the second win over the Cavaliers this regular season, as the Cards beat UVA 77-41 on Feb. 1 in Charlottesville, Va.

Both teams struggled shooting the basketball on Thursday, with UofL going 19-of-50 (38.0%) from the field, while UVA only went 13-of-49 (26.5%) from the field.

In fact, Virginia was only 2-of-19 (10.5%) from three-point range.

The Cardinals were led by guard Asia Durr’s game-high 13 points.

The only other Louisville player who scored in double-figures was guard Jazmine Jones. She finished with 10 points.

Thursday’s game was the annual Play4Kay “pink out” game in which money was raised for and donated to the Kay Yow Fund.

The Cards wrap up the regular season on Sunday when they host Pittsburgh. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. ET inside the KFC Yum! Center.
