The Louisville Cardinals made sure their losing streak heading into Thursday night did not increase to four straight games.

The Cards (17-8, 7-5) beat Georgia Tech (11-13, 4-7) by the final score of 77-54.

The Cards never trailed in the game.

UofL’s Jordan Nwora led the way for the Cards with a team-high 16 points, thanks to going 5-of-7 (71.4%) from three-point range.

In fact, Louisville was impressive from behind-the-arc as a team, going 12-of-20 (60.0%) from three-point range.

Overall, the Cards shot 27-of-54 (50.0%) from the field.

A trio of other Cardinals scored in double-digits on Thursday night: Anas Mahmoud (12), Ray Spalding (11) and Malik Williams (11).

Louisville’s Deng Adel did not play after suffering an ankle injury vs. Syracuse on Monday. He is listed as day-to-day.

Georgia Tech was led by Josh Okogie’s double-double, a game-high 25 points and game-high 10 rebounds.

The Cardinals will hope to make it two wins in a row when they face Pittsburgh (8-17, 0-12) Sunday at 1 p.m. ET in Pittsburgh, Pa.
