UofL BASKETBALL | Cards Ready for Rivalry Game at No. 16 Kentucky

12/28/2017 04:33 PM

The UofL men’s basketball is less than a day away from playing the No. 16 Kentucky Wildcats.

Tip-off for Friday’s game between the Cards (10-2) and the Wildcats (9-2) is set for 1 p.m. ET inside Rupp Arena.

The atmosphere is certain to be electric on Friday inside the arena.

UofL interim head coach David Padgett talked about that electricity on Thursday afternoon, saying that playing in a similar environment at Purdue back in November may help his team a bit on Friday:

Friday will be Padgett’s first-ever time being a head coach in the rivalry. He of course was a player and an assistant coach in previous contests against UK:

Last year, the Cards beat the Wildcats 73-70 inside the KFC Yum! Center.
