UofL BASKETBALL | Cards Preparing for Georgia Tech

The Louisville men’s basketball team will hope to snap its three-game losing streak on Thursday night, when the Cards (16-8, 6-5) host Georgia Tech (11-12, 4-6) inside the KFC Yum! Center.

Tip-off is set for just after 7 p.m. ET.

UofL enters the game coming off losses to No. 2 Virginia last week, Florida St. on Saturday and Syracuse on Monday.

After the games against Florida St. and Syracuse, Louisville interim head coach David Padgett talked about how his team has to play better defense. He echoed that again during his press conference on Wednesday:

The Cards’ recent losses has also made some experts question whether or not the Cards are a “NCAA Tournament team.” Padgett talked on Wednesday about how important it is for his team not to panic heading into Thursday’s game:
