The University of Louisville basketball team picked up their third commitment in the class of 2017 today. Jordan Nwora, a 6’7” forward from Buffalo, NY announced on twitter that he will play for Rick Pitino at Louisville. Weighing 210 lbs, Nwora is a consensus 4-Star recruit and is ranked 91st in the ESPN Top-100.

Nwora, a standout on his prep school team at Vermont Academy, visited U of L over last weekend. He picked the Cards over dozens of other schools including Auburn which has a top-5 recruiting class at the moment, Connecticut, Marquette, and Pittsburgh.

Over the summer, Nwora averaged over 14 points per game for his AAU team on the Nike EYBL circuit. He brings a strong 3-point shot to the Cardinal’s team with the ability to shoot over tall defenders.

He joins 5-Star big man Malik Williams and 4-Star point guard Darius Perry as the current commitments to U of L’s 2017 class.
