UofL BASKETBALL | Cards Hold Annual Tip-Off Luncheon

The Louisville men’s basketball program held its annual tip-off luncheon on Thursday afternoon inside the Louisville Downtown Marriott.

It was a chance for Cardinal fans to meet the team and hear from some of its players. In fact, Cards’ public address announcer Sean Moth helped the audience get to know more about some of their favorite players:

Of course, the start of this season has been different for the players on the UofL men’s basketball team because they are dealing with all the off-the-court news stemming from Louisville’s involvement with the ongoing federal investigation into fraud and corruption within college basketball. Acting head coach David Padgett says though that his guys are doing a good job of staying focused:

Besides practice, the Cards also recently had to deal with ACC Media Day. While at the event in Charlotte on Wednesday, Padgett was asked about what his coaching style will be like:

The Cards hit the floor on Friday night inside the KFC Yum! Center to take part in their second red-white scrimmage of the preseason. Tip-off is set for 7 ET. Padgett hopes to see plenty of “progress” from his team:
