UofL BASKETBALL | Cards Gearing Up for Second Round NCAA Tournament Match-Up

03/17/2018 06:59 PM

The Louisville women’s basketball team is getting ready to play one final game inside the KFC Yum! Center this year.

The No. 1-seeded Cards (33-2) host the No. 8-seeded Marquette Golden Eagles (24-9) on Sunday at 12 p.m. ET in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

Whichever team wins would advance to the Sweet 16 and play at least one game inside Lexington’s Rupp Arena.

The Cardinals enter the contest fresh off a 74-42 win over No. 16-seeded Boise St. (23-10) on Friday afternoon.

UofL’s Sam Fuehring and Asia Durr spoke on Saturday afternoon about the crowd during that Friday game and why they expect a great atmosphere again on Sunday:
