UofL BASKETBALL | Cards Fans with Plenty of Neat Things to Do in Indy

03/16/2017 09:27 PM

Louisville Cardinal basketball fans are ready to invade Indianapolis for the first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament.

Their beloved Cardinals, who are the #2-seed in the Midwest Region, take the court on Friday afternoon against the #15-seed Jacksonville St. Gamecocks inside Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

The short two-hour drive from the Louisville-area will likely bring plenty of UofL fans to Indianapolis for the weekend.

One of the locations Cardinals fans are welcomed to is Sam’s Silver Circle Bar.

The bar has hosted the UofL Alumni Club of Indianapolis for watch parties throughout the football and basketball season, so it is definitely a “pro-Cardinal” location.

Another place that Cards’ fans may want to check out is the NCAA Hall of Champions.

Located near the city’s Central Canal, the Hall of Champions recognizes past NCAA champions, both individuals and teams. It also features various exhibits and activities for visitors to see.
