The Louisville women’s basketball team took care of business Friday afternoon.

The No. 1-seeded Cardinals (33-2) beat the No. 16-seeded Boise St. Broncos (23-10) inside the KFC Yum! Center. The final was 74-42.

Sam Fuehring and Kylee Shook each had double-doubles for Louisville. Fuehring had 14 points and 11 rebounds, while Shook had 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Jazmine Jones and Bionca Dunham each contributed 10 points.

The UofL defense held Boise St. to only 14-of-59 (23.7%) shooting from the field, including 4-of-30 (13.3%) from behind-the-arc.

The Cards also outscored the Broncos 33-6 in points off the bench.

The Cards will face No. 8-seeded Marquette on Sunday in the NCAA Tournament second round. That game will also be played inside the KFC Yum! Center.
