The Louisville men’s basketball team is ranked 12th in the nation according to the latest AP Poll. Coincidentally, the managers for the Louisville men’s basketball team are also ranked 12th in the nation in the manager’s league, but they are in store for a bump in the next polls. That’s because ahead of the Louisville men’s game against Clemson, the Louisville managers beat the Tigers’ managers, and the Clemson managers were ranked no. 1 in the nation.

Student managers are the behind-the-scenes workhorses for college basketball programs. Organizing film, doing laundry, and dozens of other tasks important for their teams to take the floor on game day. But in the non-stop world of collegiate athletics, student managers still find a way to play the sport they love.

For Louisville, The basketball team managers make it a priority to play opposing teams’ managers whenever possible. The games take place the day before the the school’s official programs meet on the court, and even though the bleachers aren’t packed, their is plenty of pride on the line.
