UofL BASKETBALL | Butler's Lockhart Commits to Cards

Butler High School post Molly Lockhart verbally committed to the Louisville women’s basketball program on Tuesday evening.

Lockhart tweeted out the following on Tuesday: “Very blessed to announce that I will be attending University of Louisville to further my academics and basketball career! Go Cards!!”

The Class of 2018 basketball player averaged just over 11 points per game for her Butler squad last season. She also hauled in six rebounds per game.

Spectrum News’ Andrew Chernoff spoke with Lockhart about her decision on Thursday’s edition of Sports Night:

When he’s not on the air or in the field covering sports, you can likely find Andrew playing golf, watching IndyCar and Formula 1 races, or exploring the state of Kentucky. His favorite sport is open-wheel racing. In fact, he has not missed an Indianapolis 500 since the early 2000s.
