03/29/2018 06:29 PM

Louisville guard Asia Durr received a major accolade on Thursday evening.

Durr was named one of 10 players selected to the 2018 WBCA NCAA Division I Coaches’ All-America team.

Durr becomes only the second Louisville player ever to earn WBCA Coaches’ All-American team honors. Angel McCoughtry was named to the team in 2006-2007, 2007-2008 and 2008-2009.

Durr leads the Cardinals in scoring this season averaging a team-high 17.5 points per game.

Her Cardinals (36-2) will face Mississippi St. (36-1) on Friday at 7 p.m. ET in the NCAA Women’s Basketball Final Four. The winner of that game will advance to the National Championship Game on Sunday night.
