Junior guard Asia Durr will represent the University of Louisville on the national stage once again this fall. She is one of five collegiate athletes invited to the training camp roster that also includes 25 WNBA stars.

The training camp is scheduled for Sept. 30 – Oct. 2 in Santa Barbara, California.

“It means a lot to be able to continue to be a part of USA Basketball,” said Durr. “Every time I’m involved I am honored because I get a chance to represent my country.”

This will be Durr’s fourth stint with USA Basketball. She recently competed in the U-23 Four Nations Tournament, leading team USA to a 3-0 record. The Louisville guard was also part of the USA U-16 team in 2013, and U-14 team in 2014, each of which one FIBA Championships.

Durr’s college coach, Jeff Walz will also be at training camp. Walz was selected to be an assistant to head coach Dawn Staley (South Carolina) during camp.

The camp will be utilized to help identify and prepare athletes for future USA National Team events, including the 2018 USA World Cup Team.
