UofL BASKETBALL | #14 Cardinals Gearing up for ACC Tournament

02/28/2017 05:48 PM

The #14 Louisville women’s basketball team is getting ready for this week’s ACC Tournament in Myrtle Beach, SC.

The Cards (25-6, 12-4) earned a bye in the bracket after earning the number five-seed.

They will play on Thursday at 11 a.m. ET against the winner of number 12-seed Virginia Tech and number 13-seed Clemson.

Should the Cards win on Thursday, they would play Friday morning against number four-seed North Carolina State, a team that beat the Cards on a buzzer-beater in early February.

On Monday, the Cards also learned that three of their players were recognized by the ACC.

Guard Asia Durr and forward Myisha Hines-Allen were each named to the All-ACC First-Team, while forward Mariya Moore was named to the All-ACC Second-Team.
