UofL BASEBALL | Multiple Cards earn ACC accolades heading into conference tournament

The Louisville Baseball team currently has three starting pitchers with 11 wins already this season. One of them is Drew Harrington. The junior lefty helped Louisville win their second straight ACC Atlantic Division title after going 11-1 in 14 starts. The Elizabethtown native ranks third in the conference with a 1.66 ERA and has 71 strikeouts with just 22 walks in 92 innings pitched. In his 10 ACC starts this season, Harrington was 8-0 with a 1.33 ERA and 47 strikeouts in 67.2 innings pitched.

Head coach Dan McDonnell earned his second consecutive ACC Coach of the Year honor. In his 10th season as the Cards’ manager,McDonnell led his team to a 46-10 overall regular season record, a 22-8 record in ACC play and a top-five national ranking. His next challenge as the Louisville head coach is juggling a fully stocked Louisville bullpen in postseason play.
